Silicone gel breast implants do not cause the spread of immune-related and toxicity-related substances. 6, There is no evidence that silicone gel breast implants can be teratogenic or mutagenic in the human body. 7. After breast augmentation with silicone gel breast implants, there is no silicone gel infiltration in breast milk, so it is safe for breastfeeding. 8, Silicone gel inside the prosthesis, even after rupture of the prosthesis will not spread to distant places. Therefore, it is currently recognized that the use of silicone gel breast implants in breast augmentation is safe.
