How to prevent nosebleeds in children?

Colds are common in autumn and winter, especially in children, who have acute rhinitis, pharyngitis, fever and systemic symptoms. Children usually get better after taking oral cold medication and symptomatic treatment, but some children do not completely heal from rhinitis after their systemic cold symptoms have improved. After the cold, the child still has recurrent runny nose and the parents do not help the child to clean the nasal cavity, causing the nasal cavity to be blocked by a large amount of pus nasal discharge or even dry crust of nasal discharge.

Based on the above causes, there are several prevention methods: 1. Prevent colds, reduce the number of children’s colds, pay attention to add and subtract clothing for children in time, exercise properly and increase outdoor activities; 2. Avoid eating spicy and stimulating or blood-activating foods or herbs.

If nasal bleeding occurs, promptly stop the bleeding with local pressure and seek medical attention if available to avoid frequent nasal bleeding.
