How do you get cervical spondylosis?

  Cervical spondylosis is the most common spinal disease. According to statistics, the incidence of cervical spondylosis in China has been increasing in recent years, with 7% to 10% of the country suffering from cervical spondylosis, and the incidence increases exponentially with the growth of different age groups, with the prevalence of cervical spondylosis at the age of 50 to 60 being 20% to 30%, and up to 50% at the age of 60 to 70.  The clinical manifestations of cervical spondylosis are very complex, and if the symptoms and signs of each type of cervical spondylosis are combined, there can be abnormal manifestations from head, chest to legs and feet, and from skin to certain internal organs. There are many treatments for cervical spondylosis, of which medication is one of the most commonly used methods, and self-medication, as an early treatment for cervical spondylosis, is one of the primary and most important ways of self-care.  Cervical spondylosis is a series of symptoms caused by degenerative changes in the cervical spine, cervical intervertebral discs and ligaments, resulting in cervical instability and disc protrusion, and compression of adjacent tissue structures such as spinal nerve roots, spinal cord, vertebral artery and sympathetic nerve. Usually, the following conditions may occur: 1. After studying or working with the head down, neck and shoulder pain, neck and shoulder muscle tension, and restricted neck movement; or on the basis of this symptom, radioactive pain and numbness appear in one or both upper limbs, often affecting the forearm and fingers in severe cases, and even the upper limbs and fingers muscle strength becomes poor.  2.With neck and shoulder pain, and symptoms such as vertigo, headache, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, etc., which are aggravated when the neck is turned.  3.With neck and shoulder pain, poor strength of limbs, muscle stiffness, unstable walking, feeling like stepping on cotton, and sometimes urinary and fecal incontinence or urinary retention.  4. Headache, decreased vision, rapid heartbeat, increased blood pressure, excessive sweating, tinnitus, decreased hearing, etc.; or dizziness, bradycardia, low blood pressure, increased gastrointestinal motility, etc.
