  Indications and contraindications for artificial insemination.
  1.Indications
  (1) Artificial insemination of husband’s semen.
  (1) Male infertility due to oligospermia, weak sperm, liquefaction abnormalities, sexual dysfunction, genital malformations, etc.
  (2) Female infertility due to abnormal cervical mucus secretion, genital tract abnormalities and psychological factors leading to inability to have intercourse.
  ③Immune infertility.
  ④Understood infertility for unknown reasons.
  (2) Artificial insemination by sperm donation
  ① Azoospermia, severe oligospermia, weak spermia and teratospermia.
  (2) Those who expect to have children after vasectomy and failed recanalization and ejaculation disorder, etc.
  ③The male partner and/or the family have serious hereditary diseases that are not suitable for fertility.
  ④Mother and child blood type incompatibility cannot get a surviving newborn.
  ⑤Infertility of unknown origin.
  2. Contraindications
  (1) Female partner has impaired sperm and egg union due to tubal factors.
  (2) Acute infection of the genitourinary system or sexually transmitted diseases in the female partner.
  (3) The female partner suffers from genetic diseases, serious physical diseases, and psychosomatic disorders.
  (4) History of birth of infants with congenital defects and confirmed to be due to female factor.
  (5) The female partner is exposed to teratogenic amount of radiation, poison, drugs and is in the period of action.
  (6) The female partner has bad habits such as alcohol and drug abuse.
  Indications and contraindications of IVF I and IVF II.
  1.Indications
  (1) Indications for in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (1st generation IVF)
  (1) Difficulty in meeting sperm and eggs due to tubal factors in the female.
  (ii) Ovulation disorder.
  ③Endometriosis.
  ④Low or weak spermatozoa in the male partner.
  ⑤Unexplained infertility.
  (6) Female immune infertility.
  (2) Indications for intracytoplasmic single sperm injection (second generation IVF)
  ①Severe oligospermia, weakness and teratogenesis.
  (2) Obstructive azoospermia.
  ③Spermatogenic dysfunction.
  ④Male immune infertility.
  ⑤ Failed fertilization by in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET).
  (6) Sperm without acrosome or abnormal acrosome function.
  2. Contraindications
  (1) Acute infection of the reproductive and urinary system and sexually transmitted diseases or alcohol and drug addiction of either party providing gametes.
  (2) Any party providing gametes is exposed to teratogenic amount of rays, poisons and drugs and is in the action period.
  (3) The female partner of the couple receiving the embryo gift/egg gift is suffering from acute infection of the reproductive or urinary system and sexually transmitted diseases, or has a bad habit such as alcohol or drug addiction.
  (4) The female partner’s uterus does not function for pregnancy or has serious physical illnesses that cannot tolerate pregnancy.
