In recent years, the proportion of women of childbearing age suffering from ectopic pregnancy has soared from about 200:1 20 years ago to about 40:1, which is mainly related to modern women’s uncontrolled abortion. Frequent abortions lead to trauma in the uterus, and the embryo, which is not easily able to settle in the uterus, will move to another place to settle. Those who have had one ectopic pregnancy and retained their fallopian tubes during treatment have a higher rate of further ectopic pregnancies. Despite this, some women with fertility requirements still need to conceive again, so how can we help this group of women to prevent experiencing another ectopic pregnancy? In addition to the necessary pre-pregnancy examination, symptomatic treatment (such as anti-inflammatory, tubal lubrication, etc.), supportive therapy (strengthen nutrition and exercise, improve the immunity against disease), you can also use ultrasound detection of follicles for selective conception, which can largely avoid the reoccurrence of ectopic pregnancy. This method is simple and convenient: according to the date of regular follicle detection (for menstrual cycle of 28-30 days, counting from the day of menstruation to the ninth day of the first test), if the dominant follicle (follicle with a diameter of more than one centimeter and with a tendency to grow) is detected on the side of the ovary that has suffered from an ectopic pregnancy, then give up the conception of the current month, and wait for the ninth day of the next menstrual cycle to be detected again for the first time until the side that has not suffered from an ectopic pregnancy. After the ovary has dominant follicles, continue to test regularly until maturity, according to the predicted ovulation period to choose the time to conceive, because at this time most of the eggs discharged by the ovary through the healthy fallopian tube on the same side of the pick up and transport, effectively avoiding the risk of ectopic pregnancy through the affected side of the lesion of the danger zone again. This method is also suitable for women who have had one of their fallopian tubes removed, thus halving their chances of conceiving.
