Early symptoms of Cryptosporidium dermatitis are erythema, edema, blisters, pustules, and vesicles on the skin. Cryptobiotic dermatitis is caused by the infection of the skin by the venom of the cryptobiotic worm, and the patients will have spots, lines and patches of erythema in the early stage, which may be accompanied by localized edema. Later, blisters and pustules may appear on the local skin, and if the affected area is scratched, it may cause localized erosion, often accompanied by itching and burning pain. In severe cases, systemic symptoms such as fever, nausea, dizziness, enlarged lymph nodes and headache may occur, and secondary infections may easily occur when the skin lesions are large. It is recommended that patients with cryptobiotic dermatitis should seek timely medical examination and treatment as prescribed by the doctor.
