Is the tight fit with the myocardium a myocardial bridge?

It is not a myocardial bridge to be in close proximity to the myocardium; it is a myocardial bridge to have the coronary arteries traveling within the myocardium.
Coronary arteries should normally travel in the epicardium, but because of some congenital vascular anatomical anomalies, resulting in some people’s coronary arteries of the heart a section of the walk in the myocardium, because the myocardium covered in the surface of the coronary arteries is shaped like a bridge, so this phenomenon is called myocardial bridge.
According to the anatomical depth of the myocardial bridge, it can be categorized into superficial myocardial bridge (coronary artery buried depth of 1~2mm) and longitudinal myocardial bridge (coronary artery buried depth of more than 2mm). Generally speaking, superficial myocardial bridge is usually asymptomatic due to the thin and short myocardium, which has a small impact on blood flow; while longitudinal myocardial bridge is thick, with a long lesion, and has a large impact on blood flow, which makes it easy to develop angina pectoris.
It is recommended to improve the examination under the guidance of the doctor, not to judge by oneself.
