How to treat recurrent fever in pediatric acute pharyngitis

If a child has acute pharyngitis and recurrent fever, the first thing you should do is to check the child’s blood count and temperature. If there is no elevated white blood cell or neutrophil ratio in the blood count, it is often a viral infection that causes acute pharyngitis and recurrent fever, and the child needs to be treated with antiviral drugs. For example, you can take some oral anti-inflammatory oral solution, Ribavirin granules, or Four Seasons antiviral combination, the anti-inflammatory effect is relatively good. If there is an increase in the ratio of white blood cells or neutrophils, it is often a bacterial infection that causes acute pharyngitis and requires oral treatment with antibiotics, such as penicillin if there is no allergy, try to take oral amoxicillin or amoxicillin clavulanate potassium for anti-inflammatory treatment. If there are some allergies, you can also use pediatric cefixime granules. If all of the above drugs are present, azithromycin can be used for anti-inflammatory purposes. In the case of fever, if the body temperature has exceeded 38.5 degrees, you can take some oral Merlin to reduce the fever.
