Precautions after gastric tumor surgery

After gastric tumor surgery, patients often undergo reconstruction after removal of a part of stomach, which may reduce the size of stomach cavity and change the normal anatomical structure of stomach and intestine, so patients are often required to fast for about 1 week after surgery. In the process of eating, the patient is required to gradually transition from liquid food to semi-liquid food, then to soft food, and to general food, and in this process the patient should not eat greasy, spicy and stimulating, raw and cold food. After the change of normal cardia and pylorus structure of postoperative patients, they are often prone to gastroesophageal reflux. Emphasize not to lie down immediately after eating, but try to sit for 0.5-1 hours, and eat small amounts of food each time, and additional meals can be added between two meals.
