There are clinical drugs to improve female sexual function, mainly including sex hormones, antidepressants, dopamine agonists, phosphodiesterase inhibitors and so on. 1. Sex hormones: such as combined estrogen tablets, estradiol valerate tablets, etc. Estrogen is commonly used in postmenopausal women, or women with reduced estrogen levels due to various reasons. Although there is no clinical evidence that estrogen has a direct relationship with libido, it can indirectly improve libido by improving atrophy of the reproductive tract, vasoconstriction and mood disorders during menopause. 2. Antidepressants: such as trazodone hydrochloride tablets, fluoxetine hydrochloride capsules, etc., which can improve libido and sexual function by making the action of dopamine enhanced and inhibiting the action of 5-hydroxytryptamine as well as prolactin. 3. Dopamine agonists: such as bromocriptine mesylate tablets, selegiline hydrochloride tablets, etc., through enhancing the activity of dopamine in the brain, as well as dopamine’s neuroexcitability, so as to increase libido and indirectly improve sexual function. 4. Phosphodiesterase inhibitors: such as sildenafil citrate tablets, can reduce the degradation of cyclic phosphorylated birds, so that nitric oxide-mediated relaxation of the clitoral corpus cavernosum, or vaginal smooth muscle is enhanced, can be used in the treatment of female sexual arousal disorders, so as to indirectly improve sexual function. The drug needs to be taken strictly under the guidance of a doctor, and cannot be used blindly on its own.
