What is hamstring contraction? Most doctors don’t recognize “hamstring contraction”, and they don’t even realize it in their minds. In the eyes of Western doctors, most of them think that back pain and leg cramps are caused by calcium deficiency, so they need calcium supplements, however, I found in my clinical practice for many years that many so-called calcium deficient patients with back pain and leg cramps still have back pain and leg cramps after listening to Western doctors for several years. In fact, I analyzed and found that many causes of neck, shoulder, back and leg pain are caused by tendon contraction, and different parts of the tendon contraction can also cause different diseases. For example, dizziness, headache, neck and shoulder pain can be caused by the neck and shoulder tendon contraction; chest tightness, back pain, weakness can be caused by the thoracic back tendon contraction; lumbago, knee weakness, hip, lower limb pain and numbness can be caused by the waist, hip, thigh tendon contraction. There are a lot of problems that arise when the “tendons” that are contracted are compared to the normal tendons. If you touch the contracted tendon, you will feel tension, stiffness, spasm, swelling, thickening or even “tendon bumps” and pressure pain. From the functional point of view, the range of motion of the joints is reduced, head turning is limited, bending is difficult, lifting the legs and knees is not as good as before. In addition, the shrunken “tendons” can also cause pain by pressing on the nerves, insufficient blood supply by pressing on the blood vessels, and numbness and twitching.
