Moxibustion is generally not a treatment for thick endometrium. Thick endometrium causing dysmenorrhea and other symptoms can be relieved with moxibustion, but increased menstrual flow caused by post endometrial is generally not recommended. Clinically, the endometrium will change with the menstrual cycle, usually before menstruation, the endometrium will become thicker, but does not exclude gynecological diseases, endometrial lesions or hyperplasia and other factors. When a patient develops a thick endometrium, the first thing to do is to find out what kind of cause it is. If it is caused by endometrial pathology, such as endometrial cancer, moxibustion may aggravate the condition. However, if the cause has been clarified and the contraindications to moxibustion have been ruled out, moxibustion can be used symptomatically. Thick endometrium may lead to endocrine disorders in the body, causing changes in the body’s metabolic level, which may lead to prolonged periods or increased menstrual flow and other symptoms. Patients with thick endometrium should go to the regular hospital to identify the cause of the disease and take targeted treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
