How long to rest after hysteroscopic surgery

Rest is generally recommended for about 1 week after hysteroscopy, but the rest period will need to be adjusted according to the specifics of the hysteroscopy procedure. If it is a simple hysteroscopy procedure without any treatment, or a bilateral tubal lavage or bilateral tubal cannulation, rest is sufficient on the day of the procedure. If diagnostic curettage, or resection of endometrial lesions, or release of uterine adhesions was performed at the same time as the hysteroscopy procedure, a 1-week postoperative rest is recommended to encourage endometrial repair. For hysteroscopic hysteroscopic adhesion release, it is necessary to perform 2nd and 3rd hysteroscopic adhesion release depending on the degree of intraoperative observed uterine adhesions and surgical separation, and the postoperative rest period can be extended appropriately for long operation time, complicated operation and serious adhesions. After hysteroscopic surgery, vaginal bleeding should be observed and sexual intercourse and tub bathing should be avoided for 1 month.
