Emergency rash care for young children

  Infantile rash is a common acute febrile rash in infants and young children, caused by a viral infection, which manifests as a fever that starts at 39 to 41 degrees and lasts for 3 to 5 days and then drops naturally. The rash comes out when the fever subsides. The rash is rose-like, also known as infant rose rash, such as the size of a grain of rice, mostly sparse and well-defined, but also can be fused, more on the trunk, less on the hands and feet and face. It can occur throughout the year, and is more common in the spring and fall. It mostly occurs in infants and children under 2 years of age, with a peak incidence of 6-10 months after birth. The incubation period for early childhood emergencies is about 7-15 days. According to the baby’s situation, generally do not special treatment, if necessary, you can use antiviral drugs or fever-clearing and detoxifying Chinese medicine, the baby will slowly heal after the fever recedes. At the same time, let the baby rest more, the room should be quiet, keep the air inside, the room temperature and humidity should be appropriate, and the baby should be dressed and covered reasonably. The baby’s skin should also be kept clean and dry; the baby should drink more plain water or juice water to facilitate sweating and urination and detoxification; the baby’s supplementary food should be added mainly in light and semi-liquid form, do not give the baby to eat spicy and fire-prone food, the baby can eat eggs as long as there is no history of allergy to eat some boiled ones.  This rash after the fever, neither afraid of the wind, nor afraid of water, no special care, wait 3 days to subside on its own. During the rash, it is not itchy or painful, no special treatment is needed. The rash does not leave any traces after it recedes, let alone scars afterwards. When the rash appears after the fever subsides, it is a sign that the disease is about to be cured.
