Acute rash in toddlers, usually without itchy skin symptoms, mainly presents with a sudden high fever, which subsides after 3 to 5 days and is followed by the appearance of a rash.
Acute infantile rash is mainly caused by human herpes virus infection in young children. Young children will mainly have a sudden high fever, and the temperature is often higher than 39℃. After the fever lasts for 3 to 5 days, it will suddenly subside and cause the skin to show symptoms of a rash, which is a dense pinkish-red macule and is usually not accompanied by itching symptoms.
Since the rash is a self-limiting disease, if the fever causes uncomfortable symptoms in young children, they can be controlled by taking fever-reducing medications such as ibuprofen and acetaminophen as prescribed by the doctor. No special treatment is needed for the rash, which may resolve on its own as the child recovers.
If the diagnosis is confirmed, early treatment is recommended to minimize the adverse effects of the disease.
