The main causes of accidental injury and disability: fall injuries, burns and animal injuries. Prevention of accidental injuries: It requires the improvement of government and legal system; the attention of the whole society such as schools and media and the active participation of medical workers to get satisfactory results. Pediatric trauma has the following characteristics: the main causes of injuries are different at different ages, such as fall injuries within 1 year old, burns around 1 year old, accidental falls in preschool, traffic accidents in school age and adolescence; the defense reaction of children is not perfect, and the post-injury period is easily complicated by shock and damage to multiple organs of the whole body; the language expression ability of children is not perfect and they cannot complain about the injury, and they are uncooperative in physical examination.
