Immunotherapy for chronic pharyngitis and chronic tonsillitis

Chronic pharyngitis, chronic tonsillitis and other upper respiratory tract infections, although there are bacterial or viral infections, but if the body’s immune function is normal, the immune system swallowed to destroy the offender and not disease. Chronic pharyngitis and chronic tonsillitis are common diseases, although they are generally not dangerous and heavy, but not easy to cure. In this paper, we counted 114 cases of chronic pharyngitis and 42 cases of chronic tonsillitis, totaling 156 cases, accounting for 6% of our outpatients in the same period. The comorbidities were cervical lymphatic tuberculosis (48%) and cold-prone (35%). A total of 30 cases of erythrocyte immunity and regulatory factors were measured, and the results were secondary erythrocyte immune hypofunction, which is very significant when compared with normal values. In fact, even if anti-inflammatory drugs are applied temporarily, the poor immune function of the body will still recur. Hormones reduce immune function and should be strictly noted not to be used for salvage. The most important prevention and treatment method is to work on improving the immune function. When the immune function is low, tuberculosis infection is often combined with negative chest X-ray for cervical lymphatic tuberculosis, and when the immune function is poor, the nodulin test is often negative and is missed. Combined TB should be treated with anti-tuberculosis therapy because TB infection reduces immune function. Chinese medicine has a great treasure in regulating immune function, and “Wei Qi” is similar to the role of leukocytes, phagocytes, and reticuloendothelial cells in modern medicine. The “kidney” is the pituitary-adrenocortical system, which is the key to maintaining the immune function of the body. Renal supplements are closely related to T and B cells. It has been predicted that in the 21st century, drugs regulating immune function will become an important class of drugs replacing other drugs, and our experience confirms this.
