Can a wound with pus heal itself?

Wounds with pus generally do not heal themselves. A wound with pus needs to be removed and drained of the pus inside before it can gradually heal. When pus comes out of a wound, the surrounding area may show redness, swelling and pain, and in severe cases, it may be accompanied by systemic reactions, such as fever. At this time, it is recommended to go to the hospital for treatment by a doctor. If scabs have already formed, the scabs need to be washed off first, and then the pus is squeezed out or rinsed out with saline or hydrogen peroxide solution, followed by wiping with iodophor or taking antibiotics of amoxicillin or cephalosporin. Finally, dressing is used to wrap and fix the wound to avoid infection. In addition, the injured person can intermittently change the medication according to medical advice, so that the affected organism has time to repair, if you insist on changing the medication every day, it is also an irritation to the injury, resulting in slower healing. During the recovery period, the diet can be rich in protein, vitamin A, vitamin C food, such as chicken, eggs, animal liver, fresh vegetables, etc., can help promote the healing of the wound.
