The “crane head and dragon head” method is a practice method in which the head and neck of a person simulates the movement of the crane head and dragon head, which is based on the back and forth movement of the crane head and the left and right swing of the dragon head. This practice method has the effect of unblocking meridians and joints, and is used for the health care of cervical spine and the rehabilitation exercise of cervical spondylosis. Prepare posture: stand with both feet together, look forward, and cross your arms. The main points of the “crane head” action: 1, the chin first extremely extended to the front, extremely recycled to the front of the sternum, followed by the head and neck back, lifting the chin; 2, head back, chin up; 3, neck relaxation, chin from the top to the bottom of a circular arc. The above actions are repeated nine times, just like the head and neck movement of a crane. After that, the head and neck again in the opposite direction of movement, the same nine times. This is considered a group, twice a day. The main points of “dragon head” action: 1, to the left side of the head angle (commonly known as “green dragon angle”), for example, to the lower left tilt, followed by an arc to the upper left outside, back to the original position; 2, to the right side of the head angle to the lower right tilt, followed by an arc to the upper right outside, and then back to the original position. In this way, the two sides of the head angle to do “∞”-like movement, cycle nine times, as if the green dragon swing head. After that, the head and neck again in the opposite direction, cyclic movement nine times. This is considered as a group, and is done twice a day.
