Conservative treatment of pancreatitis

Pancreatitis is a relatively common surgical emergency abdomen in clinical practice, and conservative non-surgical treatment is taken including the following: 1. The patient should be fasted and dehydrated, while a gastrointestinal decompression tube should be placed, which can prevent nausea, vomiting and abdominal distension and reduce intra-abdominal pressure through continuous decompression. 2. Ionic rehydration can be performed to prevent shock and intravenous fluids to replenish electrolytes and correct acidosis. 3. The patient can be given intra- and extra-intestinal nutrition and actively resume diet after the condition is stabilized. 6. Antibiotics can be applied appropriately and try to select broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotics. All of these options can help treat pancreatitis and also enable the pancreas to achieve a complete cure.
