What are the symptoms of urinary tract stones?

  Common symptoms of urinary stones include localized pain, hematuria after activity, and secondary urinary tract infection.  In addition, depending on the location of the stone, the symptoms may vary: kidney stones may be asymptomatic, but may also cause back pain due to local obstruction; ureteral stones may be mildly painful or uncomfortable in the lower back, or may be severe with sudden and severe cutting pain; bladder stones may have a sudden interruption of urination; stones may have difficulty urinating and stinging pain in the urethra, and even hard stones may be felt in the anterior urethra.
