After a toddler has a rash, it is important to practice good hygiene, give a light diet and get plenty of rest. There will be small herpes after the rash, and the small herpes will sometimes break the skin. Parents may choose to put small gloves on the toddler or cut the nails short to prevent the toddler’s hands from scratching the skin and leading to skin breakage, which may cause infection. You can apply glycerite lotion as prescribed by your doctor to help relieve itchy skin. Keep the skin clean and dry, but it is not recommended to bathe your child during the rash to avoid catching a cold and causing a skin infection. Give your toddler a light diet, such as rice soup, fresh fruits and vegetables, to replenish nutrients and drink plenty of fluids to promote recovery, and avoid giving your toddler spicy and stimulating as well as greasy foods. Toddlers will have a certain sense of fatigue after the rash, parents should let the child rest in bed, reduce outdoor exercise, and keep the air in the room well ventilated. If there is still fever, physical cooling measures can be given. If the baby still has fever or other discomforts after the rash, it is recommended to go to the regular hospital for consultation, follow the doctor’s instructions to clarify the diagnosis and take corresponding treatment measures.
