Often, patients with heart valve disease have a combination of atrial fibrillation due to the long duration and severity of the disease. The following cylinder is called atrial fibrillation. The presence of atrial fibrillation leads to two major problems: First, it tends to produce left atrial thrombosis. The result is that a significant proportion of patients develop embolism of the limbs and, importantly, the brain, which can be life-threatening in cases of hemiplegia. The second is that it leads to approximately 30% of cardiac decompensation. In patients who have had previous valve replacement, the discomfort caused by atrial fibrillation becomes evident as the heart function improves. Patients feel quite uncomfortable with irregular heartbeats, fast and slow, and have to visit the doctor frequently for this reason, but the problem is that the doctor does not have a better treatment. Atrial fibrillation used to be a world problem in the treatment of heart diseases. In recent years, a new treatment method has been introduced from abroad that is more effective in curing atrial fibrillation, which is simultaneous radiofrequency ablation in cardiac surgery. Especially in the valve disease surgery together to treat, can receive twice the effect with half the effort. For simple atrial fibrillation, minimally invasive thoracoscopic surgery can be used to treat the effect very well. In recent years, our department has performed many such procedures with excellent results. The time spent in the operation is about 15 minutes. The cost is more than 20,000. It can be performed at the same time as the valve replacement and bypass surgery.
