What are the early symptoms of myopia?

Myopia has become one of the most prevalent eye diseases affecting children’s vision in China, and the disease is gradually developing at a younger age. Since myopia not only brings a lot of inconvenience to patients’ life, but also easily causes other blinding eye diseases such as retinal detachment and macular degeneration, we attach great importance to the occurrence and development of this disease. Early diagnosis of myopia and early intervention can control or slow down the development of myopia. Therefore, when you notice one or more of the following symptoms, you should consider whether your child is suffering from myopia and take him/her to a regular hospital for an examination as soon as possible. (1) squinting or frowning when looking at distant objects; (2) looking sideways at distant objects; (3) rubbing the eyes or blinking frequently; (4) pulling at the outer corners of the eyes; (5) having the eyes close to the object they are looking at; (6) often looking at the wrong person or being blind to familiar people.
