Achilles tendonitis can generally recover after 1-2 months of treatment. Achilles tendonitis is mostly a local microscopic injury to the Achilles tendon that accumulates continuously. The clinical manifestations are pain when running and jumping at the beginning, the symptoms are relieved when the activity is opened, and the pain is obvious when the serious patients get up in the morning and have difficulty walking, which is gradually relieved after the activity. Examination reveals that the surface of Achilles tendon is not smooth, and the pain is obvious when pinching the tendon with the finger end, sometimes accompanied by twisting pronunciation. There was painful passive extension of the Achilles tendon, painful excessive dorsiflexion and plantarflexion resistance of the ankle joint, and a positive tension pressure test of the Achilles tendon. The treatment method includes manipulation, the patient is in prone position with soft pad in front of the ankle, the operator uses kneading, kneading pinch method, pressure method, percussion method to relax the tense and stiff parts of the calf; the local pressure painful part of the Achilles tendon is done 200-400 times continuously with light pinch method and pressure method, 1-2 times a day, 15 days as a course of treatment. Hot water bath, the temperature of the selected hot water is 39-42 ℃, 1-2 times a day, more than 20 minutes each time, 15 days for a course of treatment.
