Before double eyelid surgery, everyone usually has single eyelids or inner double eyelids, in fact, there is a rare type of eyelids in single eyelids, here I define it as “difficult to shape” eyelids, as the name suggests, this kind of eyelids itself is difficult to be transformed into double eyelids. This type of eyelid is not the thick eyelids or swollen eyes (most swollen eyes are very easy to shape), but has unique characteristics, you may want to check yourself: Features: 1, before surgery to double eyelid paste is impossible to paste out double eyelids, or only very loose paste out of the general shape. 2.The buried line method or the technically immature three-dot method is easy to loosen back to the original form after surgery. 3. Even with the more thorough incision method, the eyelids below the eyelid line often look loose, mostly in the inner corner of the eye. It feels as if the eyelid underneath the lid line has collapsed and is not hanging on. 4. Because the skin below the eyelid line is looser after surgery, the “flesh strip” is often perceived as obvious, giving the impression that the swelling has not subsided or that the fat has not been removed completely. This type of eyelid is sometimes extremely concealed before surgery and is often discovered only after a submerged line or incision is performed. 6. This type of eyelid can often be opened very wide. They often give the impression of a sleepy eye. This type of eyelid is relatively difficult to operate on and has two mechanisms: 1. The upper eyelid muscle is inherently weak, making it difficult to give the skin below the lid line a strong lift. 2. The ability to eliminate medically-derived surgical scars is relatively strong, and the subcutaneous scars created by the surgeon to form the eyelid are quickly dissipated by the body’s own healing ability, resulting in a flaccid eyelid pattern. Solutions: 1. Always look for an experienced surgeon. 2. Surgery is generally not recommended, or an incisional blepharoplasty style is used. 3. Additional treatment is required intraoperatively for the medial measurement of the skin in the upper eyelid.
