Inguinal hernia is a common and frequent disease in the elderly, which affects the quality of life of patients to varying degrees and even endangers their lives. Since 2000, our hospital (Nanjing Hospital of Integrative Medicine) has introduced a new method of outpatient surgery for tension-free hernia repair under local nerve block anesthesia in the United States, and has used different repair surgical methods according to the specific conditions of patients.
