Facial acne is usually caused by poor oil secretion from the sebaceous glands. Acne occurs most often in adolescents of both sexes between the ages of 15 and 30, most often on the cheeks, including the nose. There are 4 grades of acne (mild, mild to moderate, moderate and severe) depending on the extent of the lesions. All grades of acne can have pimples, with enlarged pores and white discharge squeezed out of the pores.
