Several issues of circumcision

I. Age of surgery.

It is generally believed that circumcision is done at any age after 5 weeks of age; prepuce should be done as early as possible; foreskin impaction should be operated urgently.

Second, the mode of surgery.

Simple circumcision is suitable for patients with no special requirements and no other diseases; minimally invasive circumcision (finely sculpted cuff circumcision) is suitable for patients who have requirements for post-operative aesthetics and have certain thickening effects. Circumcision is suitable for patients who have requirements for post-surgical aesthetics. Circumcision + partial excision of tactile vesicles is suitable for those who require post-operative aesthetics and partial resolution of premature ejaculation; circumcision + dorsal penile nerve excision is suitable for circumcision with premature ejaculation. Circumcision + penile correction is suitable for circumcision with bent or twisted penis. Circumcision + penile lengthening is applicable to occult penis and short penis; other surgeries depend on the actual situation.

Third, hospitalization or not.

Generally, adults do not need to be hospitalized after circumcision, and children are recommended to be hospitalized for 2-3 days. Circumcision + dorsal penile nerve resection generally requires inpatient surgery, hospitalization time of 7-10 days. Circumcision + penile correction generally requires hospitalization. The hospitalization time is 7-10 days. Penile lengthening requires inpatient surgery, hospitalization time 12-15 days

IV. Surgery cost.

Simple circumcision 600 yuan; minimally invasive circumcision (finely sculpted cuff circumcision) 1400 yuan; circumcision 1100 yuan; tactile vesicle partial excision 1400 yuan; circumcision + penile dorsal nerve excision generally requires inpatient surgery total cost of about 7000 yuan. Circumcision + penile correction generally requires inpatient surgery total cost about 7000 yuan. Penile lengthening requires inpatient surgery and the total cost is about $8,000. Other surgeries depend on the actual situation. The price will be adjusted every year.

V. Post-operative precautions

1, after surgery, take antibiotics on time, as prescribed by the doctor, generally do not need to use intravenous antibiotics.

2.Keep the dressing clean and dry, avoid urine contamination of the incision, change the dressing once after two days, if urine soaks the dressing you need to come to our hospital or change the dressing in the nearby regular hospital in time.

3.Sutures will fall off automatically about 4 weeks after surgery, if there is redness and oozing at the sutures or they have not fallen off for more than 4 weeks, come to the hospital to remove the sutures (do not remove the sutures by yourself).

4.Postoperative rest is not required, you can walk around, but avoid strenuous activities to prevent bleeding after activities. Avoid standing and sitting for a long time to avoid swelling of the penis head and poor wound healing due to poor local blood circulation.

5.Wear loose, breathable, cotton underwear to reduce the friction of the penis.

6.Avoid sexual impulses and erections within one week after surgery to avoid incisional fracture and bleeding and infection. Sexual intercourse is prohibited for one month after surgery. Penis lengthening surgery, dorsal penile neurectomy and penile correction surgery are forbidden to have sex for 45 days after surgery.

7.If more than bleeding, swelling, glans swelling and color abnormalities occur after surgery, you need to come to our hospital for follow-up in time.

8, after surgery can be appropriate to strengthen nutrition, appropriate supplement fish, meat, eggs, etc.

9.No wetting of the incision within 5 days after surgery, after 5 days, if the incision is healed, you can take a shower and spray disinfectant after the shower.

10.If there is obvious prepuce and glans adhesion before the operation, the foreskin and glans will be separated during the operation, and the separated surface will have ooze, erosion and crust after the operation. After the operation, there is a possibility that the foreskin glans will be adhered again, and the foreskin should be turned up regularly.

11. After surgery, some patients may have foreskin covering part of the glans when the penis is not erect, this is normal, when the penis body is elongated during erection, that is, no foreskin covering the glans.
