How long does it usually take for wheezing bronchitis to heal

Asthmatic bronchitis is a special type of bronchitis that manifests as asthma and usually recovers in about 1-2 weeks. Asthmatic bronchitis is a chronic inflammatory infection of the respiratory tract caused mainly by viral or bacterial infections. The disease usually occurs in winter and spring and is usually caused by respiratory syncytial virus infection, which can be triggered by airborne smoke, dust, etc. In general, the emergence of wheezing bronchitis can be cured with 1-2 weeks of active treatment. Since there is no specific drug for this disease, symptomatic treatment is mainly carried out. If a patient has significant wheezing, accompanied by trigeminal signs, shortness of breath, and cyanosis of the lips, he should be treated with intravenous hormones, and attention should also be paid to diligent back patting and sputum aspiration to avoid accumulation of sputum in the lungs to aggravate the patient’s infection. If patients with asthmatic bronchitis are not treated actively, it can lead to recurrent attacks and the disease can last for months. In addition, patients are advised to take rest, drink warm water and consume more fresh fruits and vegetables to replenish vitamins.
