Anal measurement method is mostly used for coma patients or pediatrics, take the side lying position, the thermometer head lubricated with oil-based preparations, slowly inserted into the anus, as deep as 1/2 of the length of the thermometer, placed for 5 minutes after the readings, the normal value of 36.5 ℃ -37.7 ℃. Body temperature is also affected by gender, age, emotion and exercise and other factors, generally women have a slightly higher body temperature than men, children’s body temperature is slightly higher than that of adults, while the elderly body temperature is lower than that of young people.
