Patients with cirrhosis can live perfectly like normal people

Liver cirrhosis is the result of recurrent attacks of chronic liver disease, and liver ascites is the manifestation of cirrhosis entering a serious stage, which is one of the serious diseases endangering people’s health. In the treatment of cirrhosis, people have various misunderstandings: they think that cirrhosis is an incurable disease and simply do not treat it; or they think that cirrhosis is easy to treat and can be cured with “panacea”; or they think that cirrhosis cannot be cured and cannot die, so they do not take the treatment seriously. There are also different views in academic circles. Some believe that once fibrosis or sclerosis occurs in human liver, it is irreversible; some believe that through the combination of Chinese and Western medicine anti-fibrosis treatment, cirrhosis can be reversed to a considerable extent, so that the patient’s symptoms can be relieved in the longer term. Therefore, Western medicine is mostly based on “symptomatic treatment”, while Chinese medicine is mostly based on “evidence-based treatment”. Although these methods can provide a certain degree of relief, the disease is prone to recurrence and requires long-term treatment. Patients in a long-term state of illness, not only increases the economic burden, but also increases the mental burden, and in serious cases, the condition deteriorates, or even death. In the treatment of liver cirrhosis, we insist on the principle of “identifying the disease as the main focus and identifying the evidence as a supplement, changing the structure of the liver as the main focus and improving the patient’s symptoms as a supplement”. This is called “combined disease and evidence therapy”. In clinical practice, we have achieved remarkable results in terms of “significant recent efficacy, stable long-term efficacy, high quality of life and low treatment cost”. It has been proved that even for patients with advanced and severe cirrhosis, they can work and live as normal people after treatment with this method. The facts further confirm the correctness of Rogkin’s statement that “the typical occurrence of cirrhosis in humans can be completely reversed”. Most of the patients treated have been to many large hospitals and have been treated for 3 to 7 years one after another, with the longest being 10 She years, and most have developed hypersplenism, ascites, pleural fluid, jaundice, and in some cases peritonitis, and some have developed to the point of needing liver transplantation; medical expenses have generally been 60,000 to 100,000 yuan, with many reaching over 250,000 yuan. These patients have been treated and recovered for more than 20 years in the longest case and more than 2 years in the shortest case, and have not relapsed and are living, working and working normally. Examples are as follows: 1. Sun × ×: male, 38 years old at the time of consultation, a cadre of the government. Due to chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis, he was treated with pure western medicine for many years, and then consulted for aggravation of symptoms, recurrent abdominal distension, general weakness and diarrhea. After examination, he was diagnosed with chronic liver disease, cirrhosis and ascites. After about five months of treatment, the patient recovered completely. Afterwards, he went to work normally until his retirement. The end of treatment has been 24 years ago, had several physical examinations of the liver are normal. 2. Hu ××: female, 72 years old at the time of consultation, farmer. Diagnosed as “cirrhosis of the liver” due to abdominal distension, after nearly half a year of treatment there was heavy ascites, bedridden, the patient abandoned medical treatment because he lost confidence. Later, he was referred to the clinic for treatment. At the time of consultation, the patient was extremely weak, with severe ascites and edema of both lower limbs, and needed assistance to climb stairs and get on examination beds. After one week of treatment with this method, the edema of lower limbs obviously subsided, ascites decreased by more than 80%, and diet increased. After two weeks of treatment, diet and sleep became normal; after three months of treatment, ascites and lower limb edema had all disappeared. After six months of continuous treatment, the liver function was normal, the texture of the liver improved significantly, the physical strength returned to normal, and he was able to work in the field, and has not relapsed for nearly 10 years. 3. Shi×: male, 33 years old at the time of consultation, worker. He sought medical attention for abdominal discomfort and was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis. After about six months of treatment, his symptoms worsened. Later, he was treated with Chinese and Western medicines by several hospitals in Yancheng, Shanghai and Huaiyin respectively, but his condition got better and worse, and gradually developed pleural fluid, ascites, jaundice, a sharp drop in albumin (less than 25g/L), and peritonitis. By this time, the patient had spent nearly 100,000 yuan on treatment and his condition continued to deteriorate, and then he was referred to the clinic. After two weeks of treatment, ascites was reduced by half, jaundice mostly subsided, the interval between episodes of chills and hyperthermia was prolonged, and after two months, chills and hyperthermia disappeared, chest and ascites all subsided, meal volume increased greatly, resistance increased, and after six months of discontinuation, liver function was normal, albumin: 42g/L, ultrasound showed: ascites disappeared, waveform improved significantly compared with before. The internal diameter of portal vein decreased from 18mm before treatment to 14mm, and he was able to do normal work and heavy labor. So far it has been 4 years without recurrence. 4. Li××: male, 32 years old at the time of consultation, truck driver. The patient was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and ascites by several hospitals in Yancheng and Shanghai due to abdominal distension. He was treated by these hospitals for many times, but his condition was always unstable and recurrent. After discharge from the hospital, the ascites increased again in a month or so and in 18 days. After five months of repeated treatment, more than 60,000 yuan had been spent on treatment, but the ascites still did not subside and the jaundice increased. Later, he was referred to the clinic by a relative. At that time, he had severe ascites, yellowish stain all over his body, and was mentally depressed and had very poor physical strength. After one week of treatment, the ascites decreased by about 70% and the jaundice almost disappeared. Upon investigation: normal liver function, liver texture improved significantly. Body rest three months later to go to Suzhou, Anhui and other places to drive trucks, so far more than 3 years without relapse. 5. Liu x: female, 39 years old at the time of consultation, farmer. By the time of consultation, he had been found to have cirrhosis for seven years and ascites for five years (albumin 2.7g/L). He was treated continuously for seven years, but his condition was unstable and worsening, and he had pleural fluid, jaundice and hypersplenism on top of ascites. He went to Guangzhou Friendship Hospital and Shanghai Ruijin Hospital for treatment without obvious effect, and was finally transferred to Changhai Hospital for splenic embolization and mobilized for liver transplantation, which he gave up due to the high cost and went home. Two months later, his condition worsened and became complicated by peritonitis, which cost more than 250,000 yuan, and the patient and his family lost confidence in the treatment. After one week of treatment, ascites was reduced by about 60%, chills and high fever disappeared, jaundice was reduced, and meal quantity increased; two weeks later, at the follow-up, mental, physical strength and diet were significantly increased; after one month, jaundice subsided and ascites was significantly reduced; after three months, he was able to take care of himself and participate in general recreational activities; after six months, he stopped taking the medication, and the ultrasound showed that: chest and ascites all disappeared, the internal diameter of portal vein was 12mm (17mm before treatment), and the hepatic vein was 12mm. (He was able to do housework and engage in general physical labor. So far, no relapse for more than 2 years. There are six features in the treatment of cirrhosis: First, from the pathological and therapeutic point of view, it is determined that “cirrhosis is reversible”, and in the treatment, drugs that promote the structural transformation of the liver are boldly used; second, the ancient teaching that “to treat the disease of the liver, the first thing to do is to strengthen the spleen” is followed, and hasty treatment is avoided Third, we should not infuse albumin as much as possible because it can inhibit the synthesis of albumin by the liver cells themselves; fourth, we should take proper management of the “liver-kidney syndrome” as the key to effective ascites drainage; fifth, we should give full play to TCM’s Sixth, the treatment principle of “identification of the disease is the main focus and identification of the evidence is the supplement” is used to correct the traditional Chinese medicine method of “identification of the evidence”, so as to deal with the “change” and “no change” in the use of medicine. “The above six characteristics are the result of the relationship between Chinese and Western medicine. The above six features, which organically combine Chinese and Western medical theories and medicines, are applied to the whole process of treatment of disease “cause, pathology, symptoms and symptoms”: while achieving the elimination of causes, pathological changes and disappearance of symptoms, it is also necessary to strengthen the adjustment of symptoms: balancing the patient’s “Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood”. The patient’s “yin, yang, qi and blood” are balanced. Thus, the overall improvement of the patient’s physical quality can be achieved, so that the effect of long-term stability and non-relapse can be achieved after recovery. The treatment of chronic liver disease and cirrhosis still has many difficult problems for people to explore and study. But as long as people follow the scientific attitude, continuous innovation and hard practice, they will be able to gradually move from the “Kingdom of Necessity” to the “Kingdom of Freedom” in the treatment of liver cirrhosis.
