Diabetes mellitus can complicate skin lesions, diabetic dermatosis has various manifestations, the main manifestations are diabetic tibialis anterior spot, diabetic maculopapular, diabetic foot and so on. 1. Diabetic tibialis anterior spot: with hypoproteinemia coupled with diabetes mellitus has multiple neuropathy caused by peripheral nerve dysfunction, nutritional deficiency, resulting in the formation of tibialis anterior pigmented spots. It occurs in the tibialis anterior, forearm, femur, and bone protuberance. Skin damage at first for 0.5 ~ 1cm round or ovoid dark red papules. 2. Diabetic maculopapular: there is no clear cause, often occurring in the distal limbs, especially feet and calves, manifested as a sudden blisters, maculopapular, the diameter of a few millimeters to several centimeters ranging from the wall of the blisters tension, no red halo around. 3. Diabetic foot: it is mostly due to the foot ulcers and infections caused by the abnormalities of the distal nerves of the lower limbs and different degrees of peripheral vascular lesions. Often manifested as foot deformity, dry and cold skin, heavy ulcers and difficult to heal. Most of the diabetic skin diseases are related to diabetes, patients with diabetes should control their diet, regularly do blood glucose testing and physical examination of the whole body, follow the doctor’s instructions and active treatment to minimize the occurrence of complications.
