How to treat ruptured mastitis

If mastitis breaks down, it indicates that the lesion has become infected with bacteria and pus, thus producing the symptom of rupture. In some cases of mastitis, the main nursing measure is to squeeze the area around the rupture with clean gauze to drain the residual pus. In addition, anti-infection treatment is used, including taking medication and, if the condition is particularly severe, intravenous drip antibiotics, in a two-pronged approach. If antibiotics are used, the ruptured wound will usually improve significantly in 3-5 days, and most of them can obtain better results after antibiotic treatment and measures such as surrounding dressing change, care and pus squeezing.
