A lack of farsightedness reserve cannot be improved by training.
Hyperopia reserve refers to physiologic hyperopia. It is normal for infants to have about 300 degrees of physiologic hyperopia in their eyes when they are just born. As babies grow older, the amount of hyperopia will gradually decrease, and usually disappears when they reach about 12 years of age, suggesting that there is not enough hyperopic reserve and the risk of myopia will increase in the future.
At present, there is no way to increase your baby’s hyperopia reserve through training. The only way to delay the disappearance of hyperopia reserve is to cultivate good eye habits, such as avoiding prolonged close-distance use of the eyes, increasing outdoor exercise, and supplementing vitamins in moderation.
It is recommended to go to the ophthalmology department of the hospital for examination when the reserve of farsightedness is insufficient, so that the doctor can assess the condition and guide the treatment.
