Symptoms of subacromial bursitis

In subacromial bursitis, the most obvious symptoms are pain in the shoulder, a restricted range of motion in the shoulder, and a pain that occurs with pressure in a fixed position. In chronic subacromial bursitis, the patient initially feels pain in the shoulder, or the pain is mild, and may only have shoulder pain at night. As the condition worsens, the pain gradually worsens and even becomes persistent, and the pain can be felt in a fixed position, below the highest point of the shoulder. The pain is intense after doing movements of the arm, and can even appear to radiate pain to the neck and forearm.
