Symptoms of scrotal infection

  Scrotal infections are a type of scrotal skin disorder that is unique to men, and the most obvious clinical symptom is dampness of the scrotum. Scrotal infections include a variety of diseases, such as scrotal dermatitis, scrotal eczema, scrotal ringworm, and riboflavin-deficient scrotal infections, etc. The clinical symptoms are different for different disease types.  Scrotal dermatitis is characterized by flushing, oozing, peeling and blistering of the skin, and the patient may experience pain and itching. Scrotal eczema is actually also a disease type belonging to scrotitis, which is mainly caused by sweat and dirt irritation. It manifests as many symptoms such as skin redness, blistering, crusting, localized scrotal skin thickening, roughness, and unbearable itching. Scrotal lichen planus is a skin disease caused by mycobacterial infection. Its symptoms are similar to those of lichen planus in other areas, including flushing, peeling, itching, and ring-shaped lesions in the scrotum. Riboflavin deficiency scrotum is caused by riboflavin deficiency. It is characterized by a series of symptoms such as a slightly red and shiny scrotum, multiple flat papules the size of soybeans, scaling, and varying degrees of itchiness.  If the above symptoms occur in the scrotum of a male, most of them are caused by scrotal infection, which requires timely and symptomatic treatment at a hospital, wearing cotton and breathable underwear, and keeping the entire pubic area dry.
