How to treat 100 degrees of myopia in children

Children with 100 degrees of myopia should not rush to get glasses, but should first go to a regular hospital for a dilated eye exam, because dilating the pupil removes the eye’s own adjustment function and can truly reflect the refractive state of the eye. If the myopia disappears after the dilated eye exam, it is pseudo-myopia, also known as regulatory myopia, which will return to normal on its own after a period of rest and reasonable eye habits. If the myopia still exists after the dilated eye exam, it is true myopia and cannot be restored to normal.
