What is the pain in the lower part of a woman’s body?

The lower part of the body should be described as the vulva, and vulvar pain requires attention to whether there is rupture or swelling formation, and there is inflammatory irritation that can also cause vulvar pain. Persistent vulvar pain is not common clinically, and most of it may manifest as vulvar discomfort such as burning pain, itching, redness and swelling. Regardless of which symptom is manifested, it is recommended to come to the gynecology department when feeling abnormal to observe whether there are any abnormalities in appearance, such as rupture, hard nodes, cysts, etc., and to perform a clear diagnosis such as discharge examination and biopsy if necessary. Generally, most of the causes of persistent pain in the vulva are due to inflammation, and a few may be due to malignant tumors metastasizing to the vulva or enlarged lymph nodes. Occasional lower body pain is generally not a big problem. Treatment needs to be based on clear etiology, such as trauma to the pubic area, skin breakage, infection, vulvodynia, vulvar leukoplakia or tumor, etc. Oral antibiotic treatment along with local medication for the pubic area will relieve most of them, and if the effect is not good, further examination of the etiology is needed to give correct treatment. If various vulvar diseases are ruled out and pain persists, pelvic floor assessment is also recommended, and attention should be paid to avoiding various causes of vulvar stimulation in daily life.
