Microvascular decompression for facial myasthenia is currently recognized as a treatment with good efficacy and few side effects. The procedure is mainly performed under a microscope, and with the development of neuroendoscopic techniques, its minimally invasive, close-up view, wide angle, which allows observation of the posterior aspect of the nerve and all angles, is gradually accepted and used by neurosurgeons in clinical practice. The figure shows what is seen endoscopically.
