Running is helpful for high blood sugar and diabetes. Performing appropriate aerobic exercise is conducive to reducing weight, improving insulin sensitivity, and improving blood glucose and lipid metabolism disorders. Therefore, for patients with high blood glucose and diabetes, moderate running, under the condition of their own physical permissibility, is helpful for controlling blood glucose. Running should be reasonably arranged according to the patient’s age, gender, physical strength, condition and the presence or absence of complications, and should be gradual and long-term adherence. Diabetic patients should follow the doctor’s instructions to take oral hypoglycemic drugs such as acarbose and glimepiride, or inject insulin therapy, along with diet and exercise therapy, to effectively control blood glucose within the target range. It is recommended that patients who have been diagnosed with diabetes should go to the hospital for diet, exercise and medication in time to avoid aggravating their condition.
