Classification of conditions with high arched feet

High arched foot is a relatively common foot deformity in children, mostly due to neuromuscular diseases that cause fixed plantar flexion of the forefoot, forcing the longitudinal arch of the foot to increase, sometimes combined with inversion deformity of the hind foot. According to the degree of arch elevation and whether it is accompanied by other deformities, high arched feet are generally divided into four categories: 1, simple high arched feet; 2, inversion type high arched feet; 3, heel type high arched feet; 4, plantar flexion type high arched feet.
