Cranial defects are often caused by severe fractures and trauma to the head and face. Due to the lack of protection of the skull, the dura mater is in direct contact with the skin, and the localized collapse is susceptible to extrusion, collision, and other craniocerebral injuries, which causes inconvenience to the patient’s work and life.
