How long does it take for breast implants to become soft

Breast implant surgery is a procedure in which an incision is made around the breasts and then implants are placed into the breasts to augment the breasts and enhance the beauty of the female form. After breast implant surgery, it takes about 3-6 months for patients to recover after the edema, scarring and inflammation periods, when the breast can basically reach the level of softening. However, in the case of female patients with underdeveloped breast glands themselves, even after 6 months, the breasts will generally feel harder to the touch and may not soften. Usually a drainage tube needs to be placed during breast augmentation surgery to drain the blood and exudate from the surgical site, thus reducing post-operative swelling and scar formation, and a pressure bandage needs to be applied to both breasts after surgery to reduce local swelling and blood leakage. After the stitches are removed from the surgical site, the patient should strengthen local massage to promote the swelling to subside and reduce the scar formation, so as to promote the postoperative breast to become soft as soon as possible. For 3 months after breast augmentation, patients are advised not to wear a bra or a breast wipe. Activities such as breast expansion, arm raising and deep breathing should be performed 1 month after surgery, and it is best to insist on them for more than 6 months, which can make the effect of breast implant augmentation surgery more stable and the implants become softer and make the wound scar fade.
