Contractions are contractions of the uterus, and pregnant women may experience abdominal pain and other manifestations. The contractions that occur after pregnancy can be divided into effective contractions and ineffective contractions. Ineffective contractions can be accompanied by the whole pregnancy. When ineffective contractions occur, they are not accompanied by cervical dilation, and abdominal pain is mild, and they mostly occur during exertion and nervousness, and can be relieved by rest. In contrast, effective contractions mostly occur when labor is imminent or when preterm labor or miscarriage occurs. The judgment of effective contractions for pregnant women is as follows: 1. Premature labor: before labor is initiated, the sensitivity of the uterine muscle layer is increased and irregular contractions can occur. This kind of contraction is characterized by short pain time, long interval, no regularity, the intensity of contraction is not gradually increased, not accompanied by the cervical canal short contraction, dilatation of the uterus and other performance; 2, labor: in the imminent delivery, there can be regular and gradually increased uterine contraction, pain time can last for more than 30 seconds, the interval time is about 5 minutes. There is also progressive disappearance of the cervical canal, dilatation of the uterine opening and descent of the fetal previa. When the uterine opening is fully opened, contractions last for 1 minute with an interval of 1-2 minutes. It is recommended that pregnant women undergo regular checkups during late pregnancy and cooperate with the doctor for fetal heart monitoring and amniotic fluid turbidity. When contractions occur, keep your body relaxed, take deep breaths and follow your doctor’s advice on the appropriate mode of delivery.
