Sweat duct tumor is a type of appendage tumor that is essentially a misshapen tumor that differentiates into the terminal ducts of the small sweat glands. It is most commonly seen in females and develops or worsens during adolescence. The lesions are usually found on the eyelids (especially the lower eyelids) and on the frontal skin. The lesions are small, multiple, pale brown papules with a slightly elevated skin surface. In a small number of patients, the lesions are eruptive, and in addition to facial sweat duct tumors, they can also be found on the chest, abdomen, extremities, and female genitalia in a wide range of symmetrical lesions.
