Polycystic ovary syndrome is a complex endocrine disease characterized by scanty menstruation, hirsutism and infertility, with some patients showing body fat and ultrasound monitoring of follicles showing more than 12 small follicles in one section of the ovary, with three high (testosterone, insulin, high blood sugar) and one low (low estrogen) endocrine tests. normal are more common. In the past few years, the author has treated and observed more than 100 cases of polycystic ovarian infertility in clinical groups. The first Chinese medicine group: treated with self-designed Chinese medicine formula; the second Western medicine group, treated with clomiphene citrate capsule (some patients added estradiol valerate tablets); the third group combined Chinese and Western medicine group: treated with self-designed Chinese medicine formula and clomiphene citrate capsule (some patients added estradiol valerate tablets). After observation and conclusion, the conception rate of the herbal medicine treatment group was 45%; the conception rate of the western medicine group was 25%; the conception rate of the combined Chinese and Western medicine treatment group reached more than 80%. It was found that Chinese herbal medicine was more effective in promoting ovulation in patients with normal testosterone and normal estrogen level; western medicine clomiphene citrate capsule to promote ovulation was only effective in some people, and after taking the medicine some people not only did not have long follicles, but also caused thinning of endometrium and delayed menstruation. In some cases, ovulation is promoted several times. The ovarian polycystic state is getting heavier and heavier; combined Chinese and Western medicine treatment makes up for the defects of clomiphene citrate capsule, which maintains estrogen at a certain level, results in better follicle development, shortens the course of treatment, and greatly improves the conception rate. As the number of patients with polycystic ovary infertility increases, the treatment should be based on the condition and examination results to take the most appropriate treatment to make her conceive in a short time. It has been proved that the combination of Chinese and Western medicine is a good method to treat polycystic ovarian infertility.
