Most of the white fluid in the vagina is clinically normal leukorrhea because after women enter puberty, the ovaries periodically start to secrete estrogen and progesterone, which leads to an increase in cervical and vaginal secretions, i.e. physiological leukorrhea, which can be kept locally clean in daily life. At the same time, during ovulation, due to the effect of estrogen, the cervical opening is dilated or relaxed, and the mucus secretion of the cervix is increased and elastic, which is conducive to the passage of sperm, so the white fluid in the vagina is normal and usually no treatment is needed. If the amount of white fluid is high, accompanied by vulvar itching or local burning sensation, resulting in vulvar discomfort, this is an abnormal phenomenon, most of which is caused by vaginal inflammation, and will be reflected by changes in leucorrhoea, such as yellow or greenish leucorrhoea, or bean curd-like leucorrhoea. The patient is recommended to go to the hospital for a routine white belt test and be given medication according to the infected pathogen. HPV infection is the main cause of cervical cancer. In the early stage, patients may have abnormal vaginal discharge, which may be white, bloody or thin like water, with a few patients having prolonged periods and increased menstrual flow. Surgical procedures such as cervical conization and hysterectomy can be performed according to the patient’s age and the need for fertility.
