High myopia, also known as pathological myopia, is called high myopia when the degree of myopia exceeds -6.00 degrees. With the development of modern society, the popular use of televisions and computers, and the increase in eye time, the incidence of high myopia has been increasing year by year. High myopia often causes many complications, such as: vitreous degeneration turbidity, scleral chylomegaly, macular degeneration and macular hemorrhage, while macular hemorrhage has the greatest impact on patients and is common in ordinary times. People with macular hemorrhage often feel blurred vision and black shadows obscuring in front of their eyes. If patients with macular hemorrhage can be treated in time and properly, most of the hemorrhage can be absorbed. However, if the macular hemorrhage is not absorbed for a long time, or if the macular hemorrhage is repeatedly treated, it often causes macular degeneration or further development of macular degeneration, which seriously affects the recovery of vision and brings impact to work and life. The author’s views on the treatment of highly myopic macular hemorrhage have been exchanged in the National Academic Conference of Chinese Medicine Ophthalmology and published in the Chinese Journal of Chinese Medicine Ophthalmology. According to the author, the disease is often divided into three types in Chinese medicine: deficiency fire type, Qi does not take in blood type and liver depression and fire type, and the patient mostly shows deficiency as the main cause, or deficiency with real. TCM treatment should mainly stop bleeding without leaving stasis and activate blood without causing new bleeding. If the macular hemorrhage is within one or two months, after active treatment, the macular hemorrhage can be completely absorbed, and the impact on vision after the hemorrhage is absorbed is not significant.
