People with hyperthyroidism may have seminal emission. Ejaculation can be caused by hyperthyroidism, or by other conditions such as phimosis, seminal vesiculitis, and physiologic ejaculation.
Hyperthyroidism is the short form of hyperthyroidism, an endocrine disease in which the thyroid gland synthesizes and releases too much thyroid hormone, causing an increase in the excitability of the body’s sympathetic nervous system and hypermetabolism.
The high level of thyroid hormones in the body of patients with hyperthyroidism may adversely affect the genitourinary system, including sexual function, and then symptoms such as hypersexuality, loss of libido, impotence, and spermatorrhea may occur, so hyperthyroidism may cause spermatorrhea.
However, spermatorrhea is not necessarily caused by hyperthyroidism, there may be physiological spermatorrhea, mostly seen in young adults, but also seen in urethritis, seminal vesiculitis, phimosis, phimosis and other pathological factors.
